My professional journey began as a magazine editor, and I learned the ropes through stints at several regional and national lifestyle and beauty publications (including Ocean Drive, Hamptons, Gotham, New York magazine and NewBeauty). But after 10 years of 9-to-5ing it, I was eager to branch out on my own and give the freelance thing a try.

Fortunately, it worked out, and writing, editing and consulting for clients that span the spectrum from prestige skincare brands and e-commerce sites to aesthetic medical professionals and consumer interest websites is just the beginning... In addition to creating compelling copy for virtually every platform, branding new product lines, ghostwriting, editorial work (and so much more!), I also share my latest finds and tips (pretty much) each and every day on my blog, InsiderBeautyBuzz.com.

Back in 2013, I created and launched Bronze Buffer (the first-of-its-kind self-tan remover) after recognizing a void in the beauty marketplace. Bronze Buffer was met with rave reviews and plenty of media coverage (I did my own PR!), and at its height, it was available in over 400 stores around the world. This was an incredible learning experience that gave me the knowledge to help start-up brands get off the ground and on the radar of consumers, press and influencers without breaking the bank.

Not only do I know the inner workings of the beauty industry, I have unsurpassed knowledge in the areas of plastic surgery, dermatology and cosmetic dentistry—and the uncanny ability to write about these topics in a consumer-friendly manner. Skincare, haircare, cosmetics and beyond... If it’s beauty-related, I’m in the know, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to keep things interesting by flexing my creative muscle for lifestyle and luxury brands as well!
